Don’t download this app.
I downloaded this app thinking it was a better version of anki web…not the case at all. They allow you to transfer all of your decks from anki web, but then if you make a new deck on this app., you can’t transfer it back over to anki web. So I created about 100 flashcards on this app, and once I realized that it was completely different then anki web, I couldn’t transfer them over.
The reason I enjoy the anki web is because of the fact that you can choose how often the cards pull up. For example, if you see a card and have no idea what it is, you can set the deck so that it will pop up about 1 minute later. This app has no feature similar to this. All it does is grade you at the end based on how hard you said that cards were. Completely different features.
Also, when creating cards on this app., nothing seems to work properly. Say for example you want to create bold text. You can use the keyboard shortcut command B for bold, but then if you want to turn the bold off, you have to click the bold button on the app taskbar. Small issue, but it gets annoying real quick.
Trust me and just stick with the web based version of anki.
